University Program with LIFERAY

On August 2020 Careerthon has signed an agreement with Liferay to run a specialise training program for University students to skill them on Java Full Stack and Liferay’s Digital Experience Platform to meet the increasing demand of Liferay based technology solutions.

Mr. Manish Gupta, Country Head – Liferay India said, we need to invest in training and mentoring of University students on new-age digital platforms to meet the future business requirement of Liferay, its customers, partners, and the larger ecosystem. It is very important for universities & students to know that all digitally transformed organizations will generate 45% of revenue from the “Future of Commerce” business models which will notice the increase in DX spending around 1.7 Trillion USD. Careerthon Services have been associated with us for the last 3 years and experience has been so good that it changed our perspective of hiring fresh talent into the system. We look forward to Universities and budding engineers to participate and be a part of the Liferay Community.

Mr Prashant Founder & CEO of Careerthon Services who have helped 10000+ student to build there career in varied field is very excited to this new programmes and said ” I am sure with the help of Liferay association we will be able to contribute toward increasing the employability ratio of engineers . Students who are interested in digital transformation of industry or want to work as product engineer this programme will work as magic. We need to run more industry partnered programme to increase the employability of engineers which is really a matter of concern. According to 2019 National Employability report (NER) of Aspiring Minds the employability of Indian engineers continues to be painfully low with more than 80% engineers unemployable for any job in the knowledge economy. Mr Prashant Khare said it is his vision if Careerthon can contribute a bit to lower the ratio of Unemployability by skilling engineers.
